Ok, has anyone stayed at the Chateau Lake Louise before? Let us know how it was, because it’s definitely beyond our budget!
We looked and looked for a place near Lake Louise, but short of pitching our own tents in the middle of winter, the cheapest place we could find was the HI Lake Louise Alpine Centre – quite a mouthful. Let’s see how good it is.

Lake Louise is BEAUTIFUL. yes, the Chateau is one of the super classy places, but don’t think u need to stay there to be overwhelmed by the beauty of the place. there’s another very nice lake, i can’t remember which one, not too far away. u going to canadian rockies too?
